A Straight Read On Your Dog
Joe listens to what is actually happening at home, the pulling, the reactivity, the anxiety on walks, and tells you what is driving it.
Three years of hands-on dog training across Santa Rosa and the North Bay. Joe trains your dog where real life actually happens, in your home and out in the places you already walk. The consultation and the evaluation are both free.
No pressure and no script. Just a straight conversation about your dog.
Joe listens to what is actually happening at home, the pulling, the reactivity, the anxiety on walks, and tells you what is driving it.
Board & Train, private lessons, puppy work or sport training, whichever genuinely fits your dog, your schedule and your household.
His clients say it over and over: Joe trains the owner as much as the dog, and the team keeps reviewing your training videos between sessions.
If you recognize your dog in any of these, you are exactly who Joe works with.
Barking and lunging at every dog you pass, so walks became something you brace for instead of enjoy.
Bikes, scooters, strangers, a lawnmower two streets away. The world feels too big and your dog shuts down or panics.
Jumping on guests, pulling you down the street, and commands that work at home but fall apart the moment it counts.
A rescue who will not settle, hates the crate, and never quite relaxes in their own home.

Which one is right for your dog is exactly what the free consultation is for.
Your dog lives and trains with the team, working through obedience, leash skills, confidence and the behavior that brought you here. Finishes with a follow-up lesson so you know exactly how to keep it.
One-on-one sessions in your own home and the places you actually walk. Joe travels to you, and coaches you as much as your dog.
The early foundation, confidence, socialization and the habits that stop the hard problems from ever forming.
For handlers who want to go further: advanced obedience, protection and tracking work with a dog that is ready for it.
Joe and Ana Farias have run Inclusive Canine for about three years out of the North Bay, working with families across Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Napa, Marin and down into San Francisco.
There is no commercial kennel. Board & Train runs out of their own home, private lessons happen in yours, and the work moves outdoors into the streets, parks and shops where the behavior actually has to hold up.
Reactivity and obedience are the core of it: leash reactivity, anxiety in public, jumping, rescues with no confidence. The approach is reward-based, and the team reviews the training videos clients send in between sessions.

“I had a three year old reactive Lab that made it feel impossible to walk or take him anywhere without both of us being stressed. We opted for the board and train program and the difference between the dog that left and the dog that came back was incredible. Simple walks are no longer stressful and my dog is much happier and confident. The follow up lesson really helped hammer home how to help my dog and ways I can handle and bond with him. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence!”
“Our dog is very large and would get anxious on walks, and get triggered if scooters or bikes got too close to him. This in turn made me anxious to walk him. I am no longer worried that my dog is going to freak out at a bike, or get scared when he hears a lawnmower in the distance. I like how he encouraged having fun training your dog and using rewards and treats to encourage behavior, rather than making your dog obedient through fear.”
“Absolutely Amazing Team of trainers we where at our ends with our 7 year old bulldog pit mix who has never been trained and started to have aggression issues towards other animals. 3-4 weeks boarding with these guys at inclusive canine she returned to us today a completely different dog. We are so amazed in the work they did, Mr Joe and team are amazing, I highly recommend these trainers.”
“We were looking online for a dog trainer to help us fix our 8 month old puppy's behavior with jumping and pulling. Our dog lily also struggled with anxiety issues and we couldn't get her in the crate due to a bad experience she had since she's a rescue. Joe taught us how to build a deeper connection with her and truly understood her and her needs. She is SO confident now which has lead her to be more calm. She now goes to her place when told, goes into her crate, she comes on command, we've learned how to get her not to pull on the leash.”
“I searched and looked everywhere for dog trainers for my standard american bully, who had behavior problems and a bit of high energy drive, that made it hard for my kids to not to be scared of her or take her out as she would bark and pull toward dogs or strangers. We started with a at home training one on one that i learned alot and eventually did a board and training with them that left me speechless of how much it helped and made a difference on my dog.”
“Joe is amazing with animals. He has years of experience and is very kind and considerate, but very firm with the dog I own. My second golden doodle was adopted from owners who never walked the dog or trained her to behave. I was at a loss until I phoned Inclusive Canine. Joe is the man!”
“Joe has been GREAT! Working with our young German Shepherd, with his leash reactivity towards other dogs. Joe has given us some very good training guidance and tools to work on this reactivity. The entire Inclusive Team is very professional, they share training feedback with us when we send them videos of the trainings we do with our Shepherd. Which we find very helpful!”
“After an underwhelming experience with another trainer, choosing Inclusive Canine proved to be the best decision for both myself and my dog. Joe has been an absolute professional, providing a wealth of direct, insightful knowledge that gets straight to the point. The requirement to submit progress videos throughout the week is a game-changer, as it allows the trainers to identify and correct any deficiencies before our next visit.”
“Ray had an amazing experience with Inclusive Canine Training, and I can't recommend them highly enough. Joe was an outstanding trainer, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind. It was clear from the start that Joe genuinely cared about Ray and was invested in his success. Ray came home with a great foundation of training, and I felt confident knowing he was in such good hands.”
